In addition to her study of the three dgrees, Dr. Lin also had taken private lessons from two Russian concert pianists -Professor Krassimira Jordan, who had taught in Vienna Music Conservatory and is teaching in Baylor University, and Mr. Sergei Krivonos, a formal guest artist in University of North Texas. With porfessor Jordan's recommendation, Dr. Lin had participated in a music camp in Vienna and performed in a public concert there. Likewise, with a close learning from Mr. Krivonos and his family (his wife has been teaching prodigies in Moscow and New York) for three years, Dr. Lin studied much about the Russian school of technique, teaching and interpretation.
Dr. Lin has been attending regularly piano seminars, lectures, master classes and camps to continuously "freshen" her knowledge of teaching and performing.

Dr. Lin began piano lesson at age of 4. Growing up in a musical family, she started to accompany school chorus at age of 11. She had participated in numerous concerts and competitions since her early age. Except the listed public Piano Recitals and Master Classes, Dr. Lin also worked as a music minster for three years, a church choir conductor for 4 years, a church pianist for 10 years, and performed in numerous worship services and seminars.
Teaching and Judging ExperienceDr. Lin started her private piano teaching in 1984. She has taught all different age students, starting from very young children (as young as 3 years old). She taught in Master Touch Music School, Southlake, Texas, where 95% of the students were from age 5 to 16. Currently, above 80% of her students earn 'I Plus' ratings (the highest ratings) as a regular occurrence at every local non-competitive festival. Many students of her have won competitions in Dallas-area.
During the school years, Dr. Lin was honored to teach private piano lessons and sight-reading class to undergraduate as well as graduate students in University of North Texas and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary as a teaching fellow. She had been invited to be an assistant professor by Tabor Christian College in 2000. She also taught in Terrant County College as a part time faculty. In addition, Dr. Lin has worked as a judge at festifvals and competitions.
